Process Engineer

The role of a Process Engineer encompasses the development, implementation, configuration, and optimisation of manufacturing processes in various industrial sectors. They analyse work cycles, streamline production, and improve material flow. Their focus is on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Developing, configuring, and optimising industrial processes from inception to launch and certification
• Assessing processes, conducting measurements, and interpreting data
• Designing, operating, testing, and upgrading systems and procedures.
• Developing best practises, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance production speed and output quality
• Implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other improvement frameworks
• Conducting process simulations.
• Managing costs and time constraints
• Evaluating implementation risks and implementing appropriate safety measures.
• Preparing precise documentation of processes, equipment, and standard operating procedures (SOP)

Necessary Skills / Requirements, and Skills:

• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of project documentation
• familiarity with process standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD software or AutoCAD
• Analytical thinking, a critical approach, and initiative in solving technical problems
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field
