Statistical methods via SW Minitab

During the course, we will acquaint you in detail with the user interface of the Minitab program. You will learn to use complex data analysis techniques, which you will practice on real case data. These are gradually analysed graphically and then statistically.

Introduction to Minitab software, basic introduction to SW
Data processing, meaning and calculation of basic selection characteristics
Graphic data processing, basic types of diagrams, time courses
Basic types of continuous and discrete distributions supported by Minitab software, calculation of probability densities, simulation options
Estimates of basic set distribution parameters - point estimates, their practical use and calculation
Tests of statistical hypotheses and their use in decision making
Basic designs of experiments (DoE) and processing of their outputs (ANOVA - analysis of variance, basic concepts of experiment design, problem formulation, general linear model, least squares method)
One-factor designs, two-factor designs with and without replication, general factor designs, random blocks
Control charts
Competence analysis - different types of competency and performance indicators, their calculation and technical use
Repeatability and reproducibility analysis
