Course content

Implementation of individual steps of the 5S methodology at a selected model workplace in production (operation) together with an interdisciplinary team:

• 1S - SEIRI (Sort) - Separation / Organization - classification of items into necessary and unnecessary, 5S Red tag system together with interdisciplinary team 5S
• 2S - SEITON (Straighten) - Systematization - creation of the layout of the visual workplace, defining the right place, quantities for the necessary items at the workplace, analysis of the ergonomics of the selected workplace together with the interdisciplinary team 5S
• 3S - SEISO (Shine) - Sanitation / Cleaning - defining the standard of cleaning and the schedule of cleaning the workplace (link to TPM / autonomous maintenance), defining the procedure and reasons for periodic cleaning of the workplace together with the interdepartmental team 5S
• 4S - SEIKETSU (Standardize) - Standardization - how to standardize work tasks and work habits, creating a standard workplace in production, how to standardize 5S for all production workplaces / office, prevention of abnormalities in the workplace, the possibility of creating a company Manual 5S together with interdisciplinary team 5S
• 5S - SHITSUKE (Sustain) - Self-discipline - system of motivation and evaluation of 5S compliance at individual workplaces, how to create a checklist for a selected workplace, 5S audit together with an interdisciplinary 5S team
