Quality Manager

A Quality Manager in an organisation ensures that the provided products and services meet all necessary requirements, comply with legal standards, and meet customer expectations before reaching them.
They play a crucial role in various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, software development, and others.
They establish and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) within their organisation. This includes creating policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent quality according to ISO standards or industry-specific standards. They implement quality control tests and report their findings to take appropriate action if needed.
The Quality Manager fully understands the requirements of the product or service, has a sense of responsibility, problem-solving abilities, is thorough with attention to detail, and can communicate effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understanding customer needs and requirements is essential for the development of effective quality control processes.
• Developing and implementing quality management systems; setting quality standards and continuously improving them; overseeing product specifications
• Ensuring quality assurance through conducting audits, inspections, and tests throughout the entire production or service provision process.
• Providing training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practises and providing feedback
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety principles as well as legal obligations.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and conducting statistical analysis. Preparing reports summarising quality performance and presenting them to management and relevant stakeholders.

Necessary Skills / Requirements and Skills

• Deep understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
• Excellent mathematical abilities and working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods
• Education in the relevant field
• Quality control certification (ISO 9000, etc.) is a significant advantage
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and results-oriented approach
• Conscientious and responsible
