Course content

The training consists of the following modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) and ISO/IEC 42001

• Basic concepts and principles of artificial intelligence management
• Methods used in management systems for AI management
• Clarification of the requirements of ISO/IEC 42001:2023, ISO 19011:2018, ISO/IEC 17021:2015
• 8 principles of quality management

Module 2: Audit principles and preparing for the start of an audit

• Identifying potential risks, threats and rules for uncontrolled AI proliferation
• Implementing risk mitigation measures

Module 3: Audit activities at the audit site

• Difference in independent second party and third party audits
• Role and function of the external auditor
• Qualification requirements and eligibility of the external auditor
• Psychological aspects of the audit and effective communication with the auditor
• Effective conduct of the initial visit in an external audit
• Reviewing, monitoring and developing the audit programme
• Interpretation of the external audit process and principles

Module 4: Conclusion of the audit

• How to evaluate audit findings, categorising non-conformities
• Audit preparation, test audit, audit report
• Certification process, periodic surveillance audits
• Solutions to specific model situations and practical examples
• Presentation of external audit reports and case studies
• Conducting the final professional examination

By successfully passing the final test, the participant receives a certificate entitling him/her to conduct external audits in organisations.
