Absence Management - Absence under control

Course objectives

Participants will gain knowledge regarding the types of absences and the causes of their occurrence. They will have the opportunity to learn how to plan human resources, how to avoid the risks of human resources failure due to insufficient capacity or overloading of workers. Participants will be able to respond correctly and timely to emergencies and apply solutions to adequately adjust human resources. They will learn how to successfully apply absence management with the support of an appropriate information systems.

Course content

• Recognition of absence cases and possibilities of action in an individual situation, reaction possibilities for a unique absence case.
• Absence causes  and possible ways to find the root cause, individual evaluation of an absence
• Communication with the employee before, during and after an absence, setting rules.
• Possibilities to reduce and to prevent absenteeism.
• Absenteeism management and control, absenteeism planning and preparing to increased absences.
• Risks resulting from an increased number of absences
• Possibilities in the area of ​​reducing the number of absences and prevention of absences
• Management and management of absences, planning of absences and preparation for an increased number of absences
• Differentiation of the so-called fictitious absences from real ones, possibilities and procedures for detecting fictitious absences that have no real justification
• Holiday planning and effective human resources planning, delegation of roles among current employees, monitoring the occupancy of individual shifts in operations
• Crisis management in case of insufficient human resources and reducing the risk of failure in human resources systems for human resources management and absence management
• Modeling and practice of situations, training of reactions to emergencies, practical preparation of human resources planning
