  • Leadership and Commitment: The organization's leadership must demonstrate a commitment to combating bribery and must create and maintain an anti-bribery culture throughout the organization.
  • Risk analysis: The organization must identify the risks associated with bribery in relation to its activities and to the chain of its suppliers and customers.
  • Implementation of anti-bribery measures: The organization must implement measures to manage the identified risks and ensure that the risks associated with bribery are part of its management.
  • Financial controls: The organization must implement financial controls to help ensure that its funds are not used for bribery.
  • Internal audits: The organization must conduct internal audits to verify that its anti-bribery measures are effectively implemented and operating.
  • Supplier assessment: The organization must assess its suppliers based on their anti-bribery measures and ensure that suppliers adhere to the same standards as the organisation.
  • Commitments from third parties: The organization must require its suppliers and partners in the chain to commit to anti-bribery commitments.
  • Investigation: The organization must have procedures for investigating suspected bribery and dealing with such cases.
  • Maintenance and improvement: The organization must continuously monitor and improve its anti-bribery measures and ensure that its anti-bribery system is up-to-date and effective.
